There seems to be no reason to delay this decision any more.
We're going to have to cancel the last week of csa shares we had schedule for this week.
Unfortunately the weather just isn't going to cooperate to get that last week of shares in.
I hope you understand-we tried out best, this time it just wasn't good enough.
I'll bring what I can harvest from the hoophouses to Royal Oak Farmers Market Saturday 11/22. I'll be there from 7-1. If you have any boxes you would like to return this would be a good time to do that.
Again, thank you for your support, patience, & understanding.

So do we pick up a partial share at R.O Farmers market?
I do have some produce that I plan on bringing to market. A couple boxes of peppers and potatoes and some greens from the hoophouses. It's not enough to offer all our csa members, so if members stop by of course we'll give them a deal, but I don't have enough to make shares out of. Hope you understand.
I don't understand how you have enough to sell at market, but not enough to deliver to the customers who pre-paid for the produce and supported your season.
I realize some people may be thinking that. Cancelling this week and not fulfilling our share obligation was a tough decision for me. I've had a heavy heart and twist gut for days. The fact that the weather didn't hold out is a shame. I needed the field crop to have enough to do shares. That crop is covered with snow right now. The crop I was planning on bringing to market is not enough to do shares. I have a little bit of greens ready to harvest out of the hoophouses (i have limited space)let's say there enough there for 50 bags not the 500 we would need to do shares. If members stop by on Saturday and let us know your a member we'll help you out with what we have. I'm coming to market not just to sell, but to provide an opportunity to hosts and members to return any boxes they want to. I want you to know I haven't been to market in over a month. So please don't think I'm selling produce at market and not doing shares, that's just not true.
