Dear 2009 CSA Members,
This is just a quick email to let you know we have decided on a start week for the 2009 season.
CSA Share distribution will start the week of 6/15.
If you pick up on a Tuesday (Ferndale, Royal Oak, Oak Park, Farmington, Livonia, Northville, Plymouth, Commerce) your start date is 6/16.
If you pick up on a Wednesday (Clarkston, Lake Orion, Rochester, Shelby Township, Troy, West Bloomfield, Bloomfield, Birmingham, Beverely Hills) your start date is 6/17.
If you pick up on a Friday (Sterling Heights, St.Clair Shores, Grosse Pointe, Dearborn, Wyandotte).
Port Huron members-we are looking into a change in your delivery schedule. We may have to move it from Friday to Wednesday. We will let you know by weeks end.
More details will follow, but this way you can mark your calendars.
The next email you will get from the farm (either later today, or Monday) will provide pick up instructions as well as the address and contact info for the location we have your share being delivered.
Ok, now send your thoughts of good growing weather to the farm, I'll be honest a lot of progress needs to be made over the next couple of weeks. This Spring hasn't been all that great growing weather and this weeks forecast it's exactly bad, but it's not great either. The strawberries are showing signs of activity. Our feelings are that we'll have enough to start share distribution in a couple weeks.

Just want to reiterate here how important your support has been especially in these hard times. Although membership is down, the farm is getting by.Yes, we've had to make some cuts too, but the list of volunteers grows everyday and I am so very confident we will get the job done! Thank you for supporting the farm and our csa and just know we're going to be doing what we can to bring you some good food.
