a very nice blog you might enjoy

One of our csa members Julie Magro has been blogging about her csa experience. You might really enjoy this blog and I wanted to share it with you:

pastured beef-hamburger for sale

Maple Creek Farm has pastured raised beef available for purchase.

All beef has been processed by C Roys (our local processor).

This is from our own herd of black angus.

We have 1# packages of hamburger- frozen. It's a lean burger and very good.

$3 per pound. You'll need to come to the farm to pick up so place your order and grab a cooler and we'll fill your freezer with some really nice grass fed hamburger :)

To place an order: mlutz@maplecreekfarm.com
or 810 387 4365 leave a message if we are outside and we'll return your call.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Volunteer Day Sunday 9/13

Just trying to get a show of hands for the volunteer/visit day Sunday 9/13. We're planning on picking up potatoes again so bring all the hands you can-this is a kid friendly activity.

Time 10am-4pm

Things are dry on the farm so no need for boots-just hats, gloves :)

If you plan on coming please send me a note so I can keep track of how many hands I can count on.

Thanks & hope to see you on the farm.
